Douglas L. Huff, O.D.

BIOGRAPHY: Dr. Huff is a graduate of Southern California College of Optometry where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class. He has been in private practice for over 20 years. He is a member of The American Optometric Association, Missouri Optometric Association, St. Louis Optometric Society, Contact Lens Section of the AOA, and Heart of America Contact Lens Society.

Dr. Huff served as president of the St. Louis Optometric Society and as a board member for 7 years. In 1999, Dr. Huff was selected as the St. Louis Optometric Optometrist of the Year from the 250 members of this organization. He currently serves as the Contact Lens chairman for the St. Louis Optometric Society.

Dr. Huff recently finished serving a 6 year term as a Director of the Heart of America Contact Lens Society, where he helped plan regional optometric educational meetings, attended each year by 1500 doctors, opticians, staff and guests.

Dr. Huff has also participated in three Vision Mission trips to Romania and two trips to Brazil, where he and his colleagues distributed over 3000 pairs of eyeglasses to those in need.
